The St Clair County Community Foundation sponsors an award for high school seniors who are planning to major in music and meet certain other qualifications. Auditions are held in the spring. Contact PHMTA for an application.
Lesson Awards
The Port Huron Musicale also offers scholarships for music lessons during the school year to students in grades 4-11. Audition dates are APRIL 27 and 28, 2024. Applications forms will be available on line at a later date and the due date will also be online as soon as determined for 2024. Summer Music Camp Awards
The PHMTA sponsors Summer Music Camp Awards each year to help students attend summer music camps. Students must be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and study with a PHMTA teacher. Auditions will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
